Refund Policy

etmol sells digital products: a generated video for a project, and the optional removal of the watermark from that video. Because each video is produced on demand using paid compute, this policy explains when refunds are available. It forms part of our Terms of Service.

How billing works. You buy directly from Zmanim; payments are processed on our behalf by Stripe. Charges appear on your statement with an "etmol" or "Zmanim" descriptor. To request a refund, contact us at support@etmol.ai and we will process eligible refunds directly to your original payment method.

1. Failed or defective output — always refundable

If a video fails to generate, is not delivered, or is materially defective due to a fault on our side, you are entitled to a free re-generation or a full refund. Contact us within 30 days of purchase and we will make it right.

2. Before the paid video is generated

If you have paid but have not yet generated the video the purchase applies to, you may request a full refund within 14 days of purchase, no reason required.

3. After the video is generated

Once the paid video has been generated, the compute cost has been incurred and the digital product has been delivered. Such purchases are generally non-refundable, except where §1 applies or where a refund is required by applicable consumer law. We may still grant a discretionary refund or credit on a case-by-case basis — ask us.

4. Watermark removal

Removing the watermark is a digital enhancement applied immediately to your generated video. As it is delivered on purchase, it is refundable only under §1 (defect/fault) or where required by law.

5. Consumers in the EU / UK

If you are a consumer with a statutory right of withdrawal for digital content, that right is presented at checkout. By asking us to generate your video immediately you request immediate performance and acknowledge that, once generation has begun and the video is delivered, you lose the 14-day withdrawal right for that delivered item. This does not affect your rights where the product is faulty or not as described.

6. Free tier

Where the Service is offered at no charge (for example a free or early-access allowance), no payment is taken and no refund arises.

7. Chargebacks

If you believe a charge is wrong, please contact us first — most issues are resolved quickly. Filing a chargeback without contacting us may lead to suspension of the account while the dispute is investigated.
